SENTRY Terms of Use

The rules for using the SENTRY website, API, and Overlay.

  1. What SENTRY is. SENTRY is a community Star Citizen intelligence tool (website, API, and Overlay) operated by Wild Knight Squadron. It is not affiliated with Cloud Imperium Games or Roberts Space Industries. Its information comes from publicly listed RSI.com pages and from users. It can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong.
  2. Acceptable use. Do not use SENTRY to harass, dox, or impersonate anyone. Do not break the law. Do not attack or overload the service, or collect data from it in bulk outside the published API. Do not try to reach intel you were not shared on. Do not post secrets or other people's private information in intel.
  3. Your content. You keep ownership of the intel you write. You give us permission to store it and show it to the audience you choose. You are responsible for what you share and with whom. You can delete your content and your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
  4. API. The public API is provided for reasonable use and may be rate-limited. sen_ API tokens act as you. Keep them secret; you are responsible for how they are used until you revoke them.
  5. Overlay. The Overlay runs as a separate program. It does not inject into the game or read game memory. Easy Anti-Cheat and Cloud Imperium policies can change, and you use the Overlay, especially the optional name reader, at your own risk. The Overlay forwards Game.log information as described in the Privacy Policy.
  6. Availability. SENTRY is provided "as is", without warranties. We may change, suspend, or remove features, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
  7. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wild Knight Squadron is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or in-game consequences arising from your use of SENTRY.
  8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
  9. Changes. We post updates on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use SENTRY after a change means you accept the updated terms.
